Excellent episode. Plants and herbs are the sole materials in my practice. Great info and interesting ideas of how each is preceived from different points of view.
I make offerings to my garden area when prepping, planting and at the Solstice. The Corn Maiden (Grain Mother, etc) that I mentioned a few seasons back (and you mentioned and posted my pics in the blog!!) is still one of the most important nature spirits for me.
The great thing is I get food from the garden and also herbs for consumption as well as magical practice after I dry them in the Fall.
